A new Aloft Hotel comes to Schaumburg...
PROJECT TYPE: Existing hotel conversion to Starwood hotel, 119 keys, 10 storeys

In this project we took an existing hotel building, and reimagined it through the lens of Marriott's Aloft Brand Standards. aloft focuses on industrial, urban living, so we uncovered and emphasized the existing steel frame structure and exposed the concrete floors to produce a unique series of spaces. Given that this was an existing hotel, the adaptation of the brand presented us with some interesting and fun challenges.
